Ropewalk building
February 3, 2012 - 16:47
Someone has asked me, and I have NO idea. I can't seem to navigate the new GIS website.
Does anyone know who owns the Ropewalk Restaurant Building?
Does anyone know who to contact to rent it?/buy it?

I know of a great established restaurant for sale down on the waterfront....
AND, its the ONLY parcel not owned by NIR!

But to answer your question, the whole wharf is owned by NIR, from the Tavern to the end of the pier. That includes the Cru/Ropewalk building.
Valuation: $25+ million.

Here's a comment from Holly Finigan's column in Gene Mahon's Man About Town:
"So the big talk of the town? CRU, replacing the Ropewalk. My friend Jane Stoddard took me on a brisk walk though the restaurant and even without anything in it, it already feels as if it's going to be a hotspot. With lunch and dinner to be served daily, plus those two gorgeous bars along with some of the finest views of the harbor, add a new menu and look, well hollyWOULD think this is going to be the new "it" spot of the summer. But HollyWOULD also give thanks to Joe Pantorno, Patty, Ron and their crew for their dedication, hard work, and great service at the RopeWalk throughout the years. I love you guys."

Wasn't this just leased to someone to open a new restaurant? I thought I saw something about it somewhere ...

And if it sells, Yack gets a comission!
