I'll echo what Blair said (except for the 50 years, only been about 30 for me ). I think YACK has been a great vehicle for dialogue, and communication in general, for all levels of local government and services. It has brought people out of the woodwork and elicitied voices and viewpoints that very likey would not have been heard otherwise. Like any good political group, diversity of opinion is a key factor in good decision making, and YACK allows those that make the decions to listen to a great many voices. A good thing indeed.

Thanks, Grant, for all you have done, and contiue to do, to make YACK a vaible portal for discussion. So important these days.

Good on ya, Grant. In my (almost)50 years on this sand bar, I must say that nothing has come as close to this site as far as bringing forth positive dialogue and positive change. YackOn!!

I'm not sue about a record. But we've lasted longer than the Independent...
