Elder Expo, Saturday September 11.

The third annual Elder Expo will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2010 from 10 AM to 2 PM at the Nantucket High School.
Participants will be greeted by the registration table in the lobby. Vender and informational tables will be set up in the gym as they were last year. There is room for others to join.
There will be a photo booth for taking fun pictures. Musical entertainment will be playing in the gym to the far side. The Shingles will perform from noon to 1 PM and Molly Glazer from 1 to 2 PM. Demonstrations of bridge will be in the lobby hall way. Workshops will be down the hall in the ARR room; We have one scheduled at 10 AM with Sherburne Commons reps on current Realities in Senior Housing and Care Services and a second workshop scheduled for 11 AM with reps from Norvo Nordisk on diabetes. Our third workshop which will be at noon will provide information about fraud and deceit entitled “guess Who’s Watching Your Money by Cape Cod Five. The event will be informative and fun. Raffles will be drawn for a winter membership at the Westmoor Club and two $50 Mobil Gas Cards.
Also for those who participate and complete exit surveys they will be given passes for the Island Fair at Tom Never’s. Posters will be up on the NRTA busses, bulletin boards, and ads on the TV’s and newspaper. Will know more as we get closer to the date.
